Buena scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Pacifica Tritons by a score of 82-80. The Bulldogs' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it 11 in a row.

Despite the loss, Buena still got an impressive performance from Rook Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 41 points and 16 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Johnson a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Toll, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 boards.

Even though they lost, Buena was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Pacifica's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Will Jones JR. led the charge by putting up 26 points and seven rebounds. Jones JR. is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Tommy Williams, who posted 17 points and three steals.

Buena's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Pacifica, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-16.
