Volleyball Recap: Vista Del Lago Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Vista del Lago lost against Folsom back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

While Vista del Lago ultimately came up short, they really made Folsom work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-12, 25-21.

Khloe Wong was a one-woman wrecking crew For Folsom. as she had 19 digs and five assists. That's the most assists Wong has posted over her last six matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Kannegeisser, who had nine assists and five digs.

Vista del Lago's defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5. As for Folsom, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Vista del Lago wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Rio Americano on the 6th. As for Folsom, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against St. Francis on the 6th.
