Basketball Game Preview: Concord Christian Kingsmen vs. Bishop Guertin Cardinals

The Concord Christian Kingsmen will challenge the Bishop Guertin Cardinals on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Concord Christian sitting on six straight wins and Bishop Guertin on 13.

Concord Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They walked away with a 55-42 victory over Keene. Given the Kingsmen's advantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Blackbirds are ranked 42nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Bishop Guertin made easy work of Portsmouth on Monday and carried off a 45-20 win. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Concord Christian's record now sits at 16-4. As for Bishop Guertin, their record is now 17-4.

Concord Christian couldn't quite finish off Bishop Guertin when the teams last played back in December of 2024 and fell 38-36. Can Concord Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
