LaKaiyah Baker leads a balanced attack to beat Wadley

There's no place like home for the Randolph County Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They skirted past Wadley 39-37. This was payback for Randolph County, who suffered a 54-40 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Randolph County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was LaKaiyah Baker, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for her. Talee Sims was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Despite the loss, Wadley still got an impressive performance from A'mya Brown, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Brown scored a full 64.9% of Wadley's points, the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Randolph County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-8. As for Wadley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
