Rosewood extended their postseason success on Friday against West Columbus. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Vikings a 3-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Rosewood saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braxson Waters, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Rosewood pushed their record up to 20-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for West Columbus, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-13.

Coming up, Rosewood will head out on the road to square off against East Wake Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. East Wake Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Rosewood's hitters will have their work cut out for them. West Columbus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
