Brownstown Central had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Madison Cubs on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Braves as they're now sitting on three straight.

Brownstown Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Finley Wheeler, who had seven digs and one block. Wheeler has been hot recently, having also posted 20 or more assists the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Sophie Wischmeier, who had 17 kills and nine digs.

Brownstown Central's record is now 27-5. As for Madison, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-10.

Brownstown Central has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against North Harrison on the 18th. Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
