DeKalb came tearing into Saturday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.9 points), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 56-35 margin over the South Elgin Storm. The Barbs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

DeKalb pushed their record up to 25-6 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points over those games. As for South Elgin, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-23 record this season.
