Basketball Game Recap: Bradford Academy vs. Southfield Arts & Tech

If Bradford Academy was expecting to get some payback for the 67-61 loss against the Southfield Arts & Tech Warriors when they previously met last February, then they were left disappointed. Bradford Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 58-52 to Southfield. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Bradford Academy.

The loss dropped Bradford Academy back to even at 7-7. The victory -- their fourth in a row -- raised Southfield's record to 13-2.

Bradford Academy is on the road again next week and plays against Mt. Clemens. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 32 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close game. The Warriors will stay at home against Groves next week. Like Southfield, Groves is also coming into the contest bolstered by a recent win.
