Perry faced ALA - Gilbert North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Pumas narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Eagles 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Pumas sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Logan Gray paced Perry's offense, picking up 14 kills. Gray got some help from Zach Tomlinson and his 16 assists.

Perry's win bumped their record up to 32-4. As for ALA - Gilbert North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 25-6.

Perry wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Williams Field on the 19th. As for ALA - Gilbert North, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Shadow Ridge on the 19th.
