Basketball Recap: Eastern Guilford Comes Up Short

Eastern Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 40-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chatham Charter Knights.

Eastern Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Chatham Charter, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Eastern Guilford Wildcats take on the Rockingham County Cougars at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chatham Charter, they will face off against Southwestern Randolph at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
