After a string of five wins, North Lincoln's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the East Lincoln Mustangs. While losing is never fun, North Lincoln can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 156th, while East Lincoln are ranked 39th).

North Lincoln's goal came courtesy of Ethan Graham, who's now up to two this season.

North Lincoln's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-4-2. As for East Lincoln, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
