Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Culver Community). They breezed past the South Central Satellites to the tune of 44-7 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Cavaliers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

South Central's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jackson Arnestt, who picked up 132 receiving yards and one TD, and Rylon Rondo, who threw for 165 yards and one touchdown. Arnestt really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 76 yards.

Culver Community's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-6. As for South Central, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Culver Community will look to defend their home field on Friday against LaVille at 7:00 p.m. As for South Central, they will welcome North Judson-San Pierre at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bluejays' defense has only allowed 14.6 points per game this season, so the Satellites' offense will have their work cut out for them.
