Jett Goldsberry Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Jett Goldsberry's big game helped extend Heritage Hills's winning streak to six on Friday. Goldsberry made a major impact, rushing for 147 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, while also throwing for 53 yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (102.8) per game. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 62 yards.
If the past is any indication, Goldsberry could be in store for another big game when he takes on Gibson Southern on Friday. Lesure and Washington will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Boonville at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th. The Hatchets had to take a loss when they last met the Pioneers, but Lesure had little to do with the loss: he picked up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 70 yards. Hunter Meredith's big game helped extend Heritage Hills's winning streak to six on Friday. Meredith turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 102 yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 61 yards.
Princeton had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Meredith it was a similar story. When Meredith last faced the Tigers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries.

Another Boonville player making an appearance on this list is Tyler Rinehart. He rushed for 93 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.
