Football Recap: Arlington Catholic Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Arlington Catholic took on Wilmington on Friday. The Cougars lost 29-6 to the Wildcats. The Cougars have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

John Recinito threw for 139 yards and one TD while completing 87% of his passes. Jordan Nash was his top target, picking up 63 receiving yards and one score.

Arlington Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Wilmington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Arlington Catholic and Wilmington will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Cougars are set to square off against their familiar foe Bishop Stang at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wilmington will take on rival Burlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
