Baseball Game Preview: Odyssey Institute Minotaur vs. Highland Prep Honey Badgers

The Odyssey Institute Minotaur will head out to challenge the Highland Prep Honey Badgers at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Odyssey Institute came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-0 to Seton Catholic.

Charles Lucas was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Highland Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against River Valley, falling 16-0.

Highland Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Odyssey Institute, they now have a losing record of 5-6-1.

Everything went Odyssey Institute's way against Highland Prep when the teams last played back in March, as Odyssey Institute made off with a 17-0 win. Will the Minotaur repeat their success, or do the Honey Badgers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
