Baseball Recap: Evart Comes Up Short

Evart extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Monday, dropping them down to 0-4. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Breckenridge Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 on Monday.

As for Breckenridge, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1. The matchup marked their most dominant win of the season so far.

For Breckenridge's part, their victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Blaze Snyder, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Evart will head out to square off against Mason County Eastern at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Breckenridge, they will take on Nouvel Catholic Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
