Pennington posted their biggest victory since December 18, 2024 on Friday. They put the hurt on the Cullman Christian Lions with a sharp 52-28 win. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Lions are ranked 368th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pennington moved to 12-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Cullman Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-15.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Cleveland the next time they take the court. Pennington will head out to face Cleveland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while Cullman Christian will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
