The NorthPoint Christian Academy NightHawks will challenge the Covenant Classical Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. NorthPoint Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.7 points per game this season.

NorthPoint Christian Academy is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since November 22, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against Lee Park Prep, falling 65-40. The NightHawks have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the defeat, NorthPoint Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Gabe Spann went 6-for-15 en route to 19 points. That was a full 47.5% of NorthPoint Christian Academy's points, marking the third time in a row Spann has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jack Alvis, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, Covenant Classical didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Socrates Academy on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 50-46 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Warriors' disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 643rd, while the Owls are ranked 76th).

NorthPoint Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Covenant Classical, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11.
