Mason Shaltis posted a new career-low in hits on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He is becoming a predictor of Ferndale's success: when he allows at most two hits the team is undefeated (and 4-7 when he doesn't).
