Soccer Game Preview: Dwyer vs. King's Academy

The Dwyer Panthers will square off against the King's Academy Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Dwyer and Jupiter meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Warriors.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for King's Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Suncoast by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for King's Academy in their matchups with Suncoast: they've now won three in a row.

Michael Ahearn and Khoi Vo scored all three of King's Academy's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

King's Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Dwyer, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
