Softball Recap: Stratford Takes a Loss

Stratford came into this matchup off a tough 15-run loss on Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the James Island Trojans by a score of 3-1 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-7 back in March.

Stratford has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13-1 record this season. As for James Island, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Stratford nor James Island have any future games scheduled.
