Softball Recap: Lehighton Takes a Loss

Lehighton fell victim to Palisades and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 14-0 to the Pirates. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Indians' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lehighton has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Palisades, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Coming up, Lehighton will take on Saucon Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palisades, they will face off against Palmerton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Bombers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight.
