Basketball Recap: Frazee Takes a Loss

If Frazee was feeling good fresh off their 81-57 takedown of Battle Lake last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Frazee Hornets fell just short of the Park Rapids Panthers by a score of 82-80 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Frazee's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Park Rapids, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season.

Frazee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Park Rapids, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers duke it out with the Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Park Rapids knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 games -- so hopefully Staples-Motley likes a good challenge.
