Basketball Recap: Seabreeze Extends Winning Streak to Three

Seabreeze extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jordan Anthony. The Seabreeze Sandcrabs breezed by the Geneva Knights to the tune of 73-44 on Saturday thanks in part to Anthony, who went 9 for 16 from beyond the arc on his way to 31 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Brown, who posted seven points and seven rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.

Seabreeze's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Geneva, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5.

Seabreeze will challenge Halifax Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Geneva, they will square off against Edgewood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Geneva is facing Edgewood at the right time seeing as Edgewood is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
