Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ontario Christian Knights. On the bright side, the five- run effort marked the Fighting Irish's highest-scoring contest to date.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Ontario Christian, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Kennedy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 21-1 loss against Sonora on the 6th. As for Ontario Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 6-5 defeat against St. Anthony on the 7th.
