Volleyball Recap: Sandhills/Thedford Extends Winning Streak to Three

Sandhills/Thedford had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Brady Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-16, 18-25, 25-21.

Laney Dahlberg paced Sandhills/Thedford's offense, picking up 18 kills. Dahlberg got some help from Grace Johnston and her 27 assists. Emma Ray controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Sandhills/Thedford's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Brady, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.

Coming up, Sandhills/Thedford will take on Hyannis at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Brady, they will face off against Medicine Valley on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
