Baseball Recap: McClain Takes a Loss

McClain made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Unioto, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Tigers fell just short of the Shermans by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered since April 2nd.

McClain saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Peabody, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

McClain has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Unioto, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

As of now, neither McClain nor Unioto have any future games scheduled.
