Basketball Recap: Covenant Life Takes a Loss

Covenant Life lost against Maryland School for the Deaf back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Covenant Life Cougars fell 60-48 to the Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles.

Covenant Life's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, they pushed their record up to 21-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home.

Covenant Life does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, they and Mount Airy Christian Academy will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Maryland School for the Deaf knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Mount Airy Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
