Volleyball Recap: Golden Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Golden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Ralston Valley Mustangs. The Demons were not able to make up for their loss to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 25-16.

Trinity Simon paced Golden's offense, picking up six kills. Simon got some help from Dayton Ward and her 15 assists.

Taylor Harteker had a dynamite game For Ralston Valley., getting seven digs and seven aces. Harteker is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

Golden's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Ralston Valley, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Golden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ralston Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Mullen on the 31st.
