Basketball Recap: Polk County Takes a Loss

Polk County lost against Meigs County back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Polk County Wildcats took a 51-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Meigs County Tigers.

Polk County now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Meigs County, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-6 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Polk County Wildcats duke it out with the Copper Basin Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meigs County has already played their next match (against Roane County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
