Recap: Conrad Science Red Wolves vs. Polytech Panthers
The Conrad Science Red Wolves''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a 30-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of Polytech.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Polytech to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Walker, who rushed for 222 yards and a touchdown. Walker's longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards. Another player making a difference was Isaac Balcerak, who threw for 64 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes.
Conrad Science's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Polytech, the win was the fourth in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
Conrad Science will head out on the road to face off against Early College at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Delaware (Early College is ranked 46th, while Conrad Science is ranked 39th). As for Polytech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Seaford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
