Basketball Game Preview: Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds vs. Cotter Warriors

The Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds will venture away from home to square off against the Cotter Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sloan-Hendrix has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 194 points over their last three matches.

Last Tuesday, Sloan-Hendrix strolled past Marshall with points to spare, taking the game 66-49. Given the Greyhounds' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Bobcats are ranked 65th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Cotter lost to Tuckerman on the road by a 54-36 margin on Tuesday.

Sloan-Hendrix's victory bumped their record up to 26-3. As for Cotter, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Everything went Sloan-Hendrix's way against Cotter when the teams last played on January 7th, as Sloan-Hendrix made off with a 56-31 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sloan-Hendrix since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
