Volleyball Recap: Valparaiso Vikings vs. Crown Point Bulldogs
Valparaiso lost against Crown Point back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-16.
Avery Mullin paced Valparaiso's offense, picking up 14 kills. Mullin got some help from Addi Bowen and her ten assists. Nicole Bontrager controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Bella Del Real had a dynamite game For Crown Point., getting 18 digs and five assists. That's the most assists Del Real has posted over her last eight games. Another player making a difference was Elisabetta Bedoy, who had 13 assists and five digs.
Valparaiso's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Crown Point, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1.
