Basketball Game Preview: Goose Creek Gators vs. Woodland Wolverines

The Goose Creek Gators will take on the Woodland Wolverines at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Goose Creek is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Carolina's top teams: Gray Collegiate Academy, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Goose Creek was ranked 16th). Goose Creek took a hard 59-42 fall against Gray Collegiate Academy on Sunday. The Gators' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-59 heartbreaker at the hands of Fort Dorchester.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Goose Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 12-2.
