Volleyball Recap: Glenn Falcons vs. Tippecanoe Valley Vikings
After flying high against Jimtown last Tuesday, Glenn came back down to earth. The Glenn Falcons fell 3-1 to the Tippecanoe Valley Vikings on Thursday. While the Falcons didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Glenn took a 1-1 lead headed into the third set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-22, 22-25, 25-21, 25-19.
Even though they lost, Glenn was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 11 consecutive matchups.
Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Tippecanoe Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season.
Glenn will square off against Kouts at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Glenn is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Tippecanoe Valley, they will welcome LaVille at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
