The home team had come away the winner the last five times Scott and Cimarron had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Beavers skirted past the Bluejays 3-2. The game was the first time the Beavers have beaten the Bluejays on their field since April 18, 2023.

Riley Suppes spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits.

At the plate, Scott's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Baylee Wolkensdorfer, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Scott's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Cimarron, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 11-3.

Scott has already played their next matchup, an 11-2 loss against Southwestern Heights on the 23rd. As for Cimarron, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-6 win against Skyline on the 24th.
