Baseball Game Preview: Plymouth Wildcats vs. Novi Wildcats

For the second straight game, Plymouth will face off against Novi. Plymouth will be playing in front of their home fans against Novi at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Plymouth will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Plymouth turned things around against Novi on Monday. They came out on top against Novi by a score of 7-3.

Brady Tegen tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Nick Riebschleger, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Logan Pheiffer was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

With the defeat, Novi broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-7. As for Plymouth, their win bumped their record up to 3-14.
