Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Spring Creek

Spring Creek entered their tilt with Maxwell Vo-Tech on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They had just enough and edged the Maxwell Vo-Tech Bears out 36-34. Given Spring Creek's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 234th, while Maxwell Vo-Tech is ranked 588th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Spring Creek has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Maxwell Vo-Tech, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Spring Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-42 win against Brooklyn Academy of Global Finance on the 10th. As for Maxwell Vo-Tech, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-48 victory against East New York Arts and Civics on the 10th.
