Softball Recap: Steele Canyon Has No Trouble Against Maranatha Christian

Steele Canyon's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Maranatha Christian Eagles as the Steele Canyon Cougars made off with an 11-2 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Steele Canyon moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Maranatha Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Steele Canyon will square off against Clairemont at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maranatha Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Guajome Park Academy at 3:30 p.m.
