Football Recap: Lakeview Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lakeview lost against Nyssa back in September of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Honkers took a 16-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Honkers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Adrian Gonzalez threw for 61 yards on three of nine attempts.

Lakeview's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Nyssa, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lakeview will square off against Klamath Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Honkers will be up against the Pelicans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Nyssa, they will take on Vale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' defense has only allowed 12.6 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
