Softball Recap: Hamilton Sets Scoring Season-High Against Williams

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hamilton). They were the clear victors by a 21-1 margin over the Williams Yellowjackets on Tuesday. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Jordyn Rodgers was a standout: she got on base in all five of her plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Elina Hernandez was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs.

Hamilton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .689. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

The win got Hamilton back to even at 8-8. As for Williams, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hamilton beat the Yellowjackets by a score of 23-0 on Thursday.
