Nevada won the last time they faced Lafayette County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blue Jays walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Cougars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Jays.

Nevada's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Lafayette County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Looking ahead, Nevada is taking a road trip to challenge Blevins at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lafayette County, they will square off against Bearden at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.3 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
