Volleyball Recap: Charles City Starts Season with Loss at Home

Charles City unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Surry County Cougars on Monday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Looking ahead, Charles City will challenge Hopewell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Surry County, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Essex at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
