After a string of three wins, Corcoran's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were dealt a 33-6 loss at the hands of the Auburn Maroons. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Corcoran's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Auburn, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Corcoran will host East Syracuse-Minoa at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans' defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so the Cougars' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Auburn, they will venture away from home to challenge Fulton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Maroons will be up against the Red Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
