Soccer Game Preview: Trinity Episcopal vs. Collegiate

Trinity Episcopal hasn't had much luck against Collegiate recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Titans will challenge the Cougars at 4:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Trinity Episcopal and Veritas School finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

The Titans' goal came courtesy of Gabby Sauvigne, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, Collegiate put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their undefeated season alive. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Midlothian.

Collegiate pushed their record up to 13-0-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those eight contests. Trinity Episcopal's draw gives them a new season record of 3-7-3.

Trinity Episcopal suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to Collegiate when the teams last played two weeks ago. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Titans were down 4-0.
