Baseball Recap: Great Falls Comes Up Short

Great Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Marlboro Academy Dragons.

Great Falls' loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Marlboro Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season.

Great Falls will be taking part in a tournament against Tyler at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marlboro Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against North Stanly at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
