Baseball Recap: Prairie Heights Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lakewood Park Christian on Saturday, Prairie Heights came back down to earth. The Panthers lost 13-3 to the Churubusco Eagles on Tuesday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Prairie Heights saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braydon Duke, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Duke is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Prairie Heights' loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Churubusco, they moved to 3-8 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Prairie Heights will welcome Hamilton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Churubusco, they are taking a road trip to take on Eastside at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
