Soccer Game Preview: North Brunswick vs. Topsail

North Brunswick is 2-8 against Topsail since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. North Brunswick will host Topsail at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

North Brunswick's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over West Bladen. North Brunswick haven't had any issues with West Bladen recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Topsail brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They blew past New Hanover 4-0 on Thursday. Given Topsail's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 108th, while New Hanover are ranked 272nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Brunswick's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Topsail, the victory got them back to even at 2-2-6.
