Dynamic duo of Jabari Lee and Thaddeus Hawkins lead Learning Foundation & Performing Arts to victory

Recap: Learning Foundation & Performing Arts Wolves vs. Heritage Academy Heroes

The Learning Foundation & Performing Arts Wolves waltzed into their contest on Thursday with nine straight wins but they left with ten. They enjoyed a cozy 56-40 victory over Heritage Academy. This was payback for Learning Foundation & Performing Arts, who suffered a 67-51 loss the last time these two teams met.

Learning Foundation & Performing Arts was led to victory by Jabari Lee and Thaddeus Hawkins. Lee scored 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals, while Hawkins shot 4-for-5 from deep and dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Lee is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight. Tyler Hamm was another key contributor, scoring four points along with three steals.

Several Heroes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bryce Campbell, who scored 17 points. Campbell hasn't dropped below 15 points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Mattson Young, who scored 12 points.

Learning Foundation & Performing Arts' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-3. As for Heritage Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-6.

Learning Foundation & Performing Arts will take on Heritage Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Learning Foundation & Performing Arts focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Thursday. As for Heritage Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Learning Foundation & Performing Arts at 6:00 p.m.
