Volleyball Recap: Herington Takes a Loss

Herington lost against Canton-Galva two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Railroaders fell 2-0 to the Eagles. The Railroaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Herington was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-16.

Herington's loss dropped their record down to 8-17-3. As for Canton-Galva, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-12-1 record this season.

Herington has already played their next match, a 0-0 tie against Little River on the 11th. As for Canton-Galva, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Goessel on the 11th.
